Sponsors & Partners

The firms we work with

We partner with trading firms, banks and platforms who want direct access to students who are already doing the work. Below is who we work with, and what a partnership with the Bristol Trading Society actually provides.

Our reach

We send more members into industry than any other finance society at Bristol.

800 members, an analyst cohort selected by competitive application each year, and four divisions running their own research agendas — more about the society and how it is structured.

What a partnership provides

Access to the analyst programme

Over 400 students apply each year for roughly ten places per division. Analysts spend the year producing research inside that division. Partners can receive the analyst CV book directly.

Speaking slots and events

Host an evening with our members, run a workshop, or co-host a competition. Past partners have run simulations, championships and career sessions with us.

Division-level collaboration

Work directly with the division closest to your desk — providing resources, data or problem sets to the FICC, Equities, Macro or Quant teams.

Brand presence

Logo placement across our site and event materials, and visibility at the Freshers' Fair and our annual welcome event.

Recruitment pipeline

Advertise internships, spring weeks and graduate roles to a membership that is already actively applying into markets roles.

A long-term relationship

Several of our partnerships have run for multiple years, carrying over as each committee hands to the next.

Our partners

DRW

Proprietary trading firm. Hosts an invite-only social for our analysts and division heads, and takes our analyst CV book — members have gone on to spring-week rounds off the back of it.

WorldQuant

Runs the WorldQuant International Quant Championship. A long-term partner providing resources and competition routes for our Quant division.

eToro

Multi-asset trading platform, working with us through Social Profit. Ran an event with our members and funded accounts so students could trade the platform live.

Also working with us

Outlook Energy

Bristol-based energy trading firm, and one of our closest local partners.

Berenberg

Private bank. Works with us to put internship and early-careers opportunities in front of our membership.

HireHuub

Early-careers platform. Ran the House of London Internship event with us, one of our best-attended external sessions.

Headstart

Micro-internship platform, giving members short, CV-building placements. A regular fixture of our Freshers' Fair presence.

Commodities People

Organisers of Energy Trading Week and Commodity Trading Week. A partner of several years who host our members at their London industry events.

CFA Institute

Bristol Trading Society provides content and learning opportunities for students offered by CFA Institute, the global leading association of investment professionals — setting the standard for professional excellence.
